Sprayed Kitchen: Clare, Suffolk.
The Painted Pantry really enjoyed transforming this Kitchen in Clare, Suffolk.
Our clients inherited this kitchen when they bought the property. Unfortunately it wasn’t painted very well and wasn’t even primed which meant that you could remove the paint with just your nails. And the finish was shocking to say the least with bits in the paint and extra thick brush marks and runs!
After a thorough degrease every part was meticulously sanded back working through different grits to remove all the previous paint. A couple of coats of primer with a high grit sand in between coats and this kitchen was finally ready for the top coats.
A couple of coats of primer later with a high grit sand in between coats and this kitchen was finally ready for the two top coats.
We sprayed the kitchen with the equivalent specialist furniture paint tinted to Farrow and Ball ‘Hague Blue’
The original handles were refitted but the original screws were replaced, we always carry spares on the van. The brass hardware I feel really compliments the ‘Hague Blue’ wouldn’t you agree?
